Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Stedra, operated by [Company Legal Name] (“we,” “us”). By using Stedra, you agree to them.

1. The service

Stedra plans personalized trips using AI, real place and event data, and local recommendations, for a curated set of destinations. We're expanding that coverage over time — a destination we don't support yet isn't a rejection, and you can ask to be notified when we launch there.

2. Accounts and tiers

You can try Stedra as a guest with no account. Creating a free account unlocks saved trips, favorites, and a higher monthly limit of AI-planned trips. Premium is a paid upgrade on the same account — not a separate signup — with a higher monthly limit and additional features. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Billing

Premium subscriptions and AI-plan credit packs are billed through Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe's own billing portal, linked from your account. Canceling stops future billing at the end of your current paid period — you keep Premium access until then, and we don't delete your saved trips or data when you downgrade.

4. AI-generated content

Stedra uses AI to help plan your trip and describe places. We work to keep this accurate and grounded in real data, but recommendations, opening hours, prices, and availability can change or be wrong. Always confirm important details — bookings, opening hours, travel requirements — directly with the business or venue before you rely on them.

5. Content you submit

Local Voices contributions, trip memory photos, and business listing content remain yours. By submitting them, you give us permission to display them on Stedra. Submissions are reviewed before they appear publicly. You can delete your own pending or rejected submissions at any time; an already public contribution can be taken down on request through the removal-request option on your own submission.

6. Acceptable use

Don't submit false, defamatory, or unsafe content; don't attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent Stedra's usage limits or security; don't use Stedra for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate this.

7. Business listings

A business owner may claim their own listing and manage how it's presented. Claims are subject to verification before the listing goes live. We reserve the right to decline or remove a claim that can't be verified.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Stedra is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for travel decisions made based on Stedra's recommendations, or for losses arising from third-party businesses, venues, or services you discover through Stedra.

9. Termination

You can stop using Stedra and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, let you know directly.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction].
